The Night Before The Concert

*Nsync in Toronto

This poem is about a dream I had before I went to my first *N SYNC concert way back in December of 98. My friend (who is also named Jen) and I were so excited...

It was the night before the concert, and all through the house, my *N SYNC buddy Jen and I were dancing all around.

But soon we grew tired and went off to bed, soon we'd be dreaming about our day ahead.

As I looked up above through the darkness of the night, I could still see Justin's blue eyes, sparkle in the moonlight.

The words of their songs were implanted in my brain, and I knew if I had to wait all night, I'd go insane!

All of a sudden I heard the words of a familiar song, I jumped out of my bed to see what was going on.

I ran to the window and opened up the blinds, and their stood 5 guys in one straight line. 'Oh my gosh oh my gosh this isn't happening' I screamed and laughed and started clapping.

"Jen Jen wake up, come see this, *N SYNC is outside and they're singing White Christmas!"

We stood at the window and watched them sing, they looked like angels without any wings.

When the song was over, still in shock, we ran to the front door and undid the lock.

Outside we ran in the cold snow, to talk to *N SYNC before they had to go...

"Hey how ya doin, are you doin all right? We hope you had a fun time tonight, now go back to bed, and get some sleep, and we'll see ya tomorrow dancin to the beat!"

Then they flashed us both smiles, and gave us a wave, then they got up upon their big blue sleigh.

Standing on the porch, I could hear Justin say, "Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday!"
