New Pie in the oven

HOLLYWOOD -- It's time for another slice of American Pie.
It took almost three years, but screenwriter Adam Herz has come up with a sequel to his hit comedy, American Pie.
Jason Biggs, who had an encounter with an apple pie in the original, insists: "There are no pies this time. No pies of any flavour."
What will return when American Pie 2 begins filming Feb. 14 are the actors from the original.
"As far as I know, everyone's back," says Biggs.
The original American Pie set new standards for gross-out humour. Biggs says the intention of the sequel isn't to push the envelope as far as possible.
"Scary Movie pretty well pushed all the buttons that are allowable. We've got some very funny scenes in American Pie 2, but nothing as outrageous as the excessive scenes in Scary Movie."
