Stiles heads to 'Carolina'
"Save The Last Dance" star Julia Stiles has signed on to star in the drama "Carolina" opposite Kathy Bates, Variety reports.
The film, directed by Jon Amiel ("Entrapment," "The Man Who Knew Too Little"), stars Stiles as a Southern woman who leaves her bizarre family to relocate to California, where she ends up having to choose between two men who love her, Variety said.
Stiles' career has heated up in the past year, appearing in David Mamet's "State And Main" and "10 Things I Hate About You," as well as "Save The Last Dance." She's also set to appear in "Go" director Doug Liman's "The Bourne Identity," opposite Matt Damon, Variety said. (More on Julia Stiles)
