Julia Stiles movie gets release date
A controversial teen adaptation of Shakespeare's "Othello" is finally going to see the light of day.
The movie, titled "O", includes story-lines involving high school murders. The violence reportedly delayed the film's release due to real-life school shootings in the U.S., TV Guide reports.
Now, Lions Gate Films has the U.S. rights to the movie. It is planning to release it in August on approximately 1,500 screens.
"O" stars Julia Stiles ("Save The Last Dance"), Mekhi Phifer ("Shaft"), Martin Sheen ("The West Wing"), and Josh Hartnett ("The Virgin Suicides").
