All Saints sisters do duo

The Appleton sisters have finished their first album as non-All Saints.

Nicole and Natalie and the other two members of All Saints, Melanie Blatt and Shaznay Lewis, split this year after a series of disagreements.

"It's nice to be in control for a change, because no-one ever heard Nic and I, and no-one knew what we were about," Natalie told BBC's Radio 1. "It's nice to express ourselves the way we've always wanted to."

The sisters are also planning to pen an autobiography that will cover their lives as All Saints, as well as their high-profile romances. Nicole was previously engaged to Robbie Williams. She now has a child with Oasis star Liam Gallagher.

Saints sisters team up

Former All Saints sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton are finishing their new project.

The two singers are currently working on a single together titled "Blow My Mind". They plan to release it in the U.K. later this year, NME reports.

The Appleton girls have been working on music together since the All Saints went on hiatus early this year.

Dave Stewart is reportedly planning to produce some of the girls' new songs. He directed the Appletons in the flop movie "Honest".

All Saints split, release new album
By STEPHANIE McGRATH -- AllPop

It doesn't look as though All Saints will re-group.

One member of the separated girl group is saying there isn't much hope for the future of All Saints, NME reports.

"We were a great band, but I can't see us getting back together again," All Saint Shaznay Lewis told NME.

"We were a great band, but I can't see us getting back together again. There are too many problems and we can't work things out."

An official statement released on behalf of the group stated that All Saints' future was "on ice".

Shaznay is working on solo material with Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams' songwriting partner) and K-Gee, the All Saints' producer.

Meanwhile, All Saints sister Nicole and Natalie Appleton are reportedly working together on a music project.

All Saints latest (and possibly last) album, "Saints and Sinners" will be released in Canada on Tuesday, March 6.

All Saints "on ice"

All Saints have officially cancelled their U.K. tour.

The U.K. girl-group said that they're currently "on ice" and that all four group members, Shaznay Lewis, Mel Blatt and Natalie and Nicole Appleton are working on separate projects, Music 365 reports.

An official statement put the blame on "well-publicized public disagreements" for the cancelled tour, and said the group apologizes to their fans.

But there still may be hope in All Saints' future.

"This does not by any means signal the end of All Saints," said the statement. "The girls have had an incredible four years, selling in excess of 10 million albums across the globe and touring the world countless times. They just need their own space for a while."
