B*Witched to perform in London

B*Witched hopes to help bring peace to their homeland.

The Irish girl group is headlining Concert For Peace In Ireland in London on April 9th, Music 365 reports.

The concert, featuring all-Irish acts, is being organized by Co-operation Ireland. The charity strives to promote an alliance between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

"This concert not only promises to be great entertainment but will also allow people to continue to contribute to a very important and worthwhile cause," said Terry Neill, chairman of Co-operation Ireland.

B*Witched undressed

The Irish pop band, B*Witched, has been causing a stir during their live performances lately.

The four girls are featuring a male model whom they undress during the show, BBC reported. The band says the audience doesn't seem to be offended, in fact, they seem to like it a lot.

"They love him, actually," the girls told BBC Radio 1. "It's mad to see, especially when we get down to his um...boxers! They all go mental. It's cool. It goes down really well."

After discussing the benefits of bringing a male model to their concerts. Band-member Lindsay took some time to deny rumours that she's planning to marry Lee from 911.

"I'm only 18, so chill out!" she said.

The girls are busy promoting their latest album "Awake and Breathe".

B*Witched controversy

B*Witched tried to do good deed and ended up infuriating environmentalists.

The Irish pop band was in the middle of a tree-planting controversy today (Nov. 26), Music 365 reported).

The four band members staged a tree-planting campaign to promote their new album "Awake and Breathe" in Holland Park last month. Future Forests joined Epic Records (the band's label) in the event and fans were encouraged to sponsor more planting by pledging £4 per tree through Future Forest's website.

The London Tree Officers Association is angry about the event, saying Future Forest simplified the issue of greenhouse gas. The association said Future Forest told visitors to their website that the amount of carbon dioxide produced by two people can be balanced out by planting 27 trees.

"That figure is absurdly low, and it could give someone the impression that it's all they need to clean up the air," LTOA member, Jerry Birtles.

Dan Morrell, the head of Future Forests, said the fact his organisation used in the campaign had been checked.
