Ricky Martin's new role

Ricky Martin has accepted a film role in a new thriller.

According to The BBC, the pop star will appear in "He Came Back". The movie follows the story of a married British woman who moves to the U.S. only to discover that her former boyfriend who was presumed dead is actually in her neighbourhood.

Another Latin pop star, Enrique Iglesias, is also getting into the acting business, The BBC reports.

Enrique's acting debut will be alongside Antonio Banderas, Johnny Depp, Quentin Tarantino, and Mickey Rourke in a film titled "Once Upon A Time In Mexico".

Ricky Martin to star in 'Zorro'

Ricky Martin is thinking about putting a mask over his famous face and switching his microphone for a sword.

The Latin pop star is planning to take the stage at a London theatre in the musical "Zorro", the London Sun reports.

"Ricky is already one of the biggest Latin icons in the world and has the look and the attitude to play Zorro," said a friend of theatre producer Adam Kenwright.

U.K. pop star Robbie Williams is also reportedly being approached to write some of the songs for the musical.

Ricky Martin goes to Blockbuster

Ricky Martin is taking the stage at the Blockbuster Awards this year.

The show will be held on April 10 in L.A. and air on Fox the next day, MTV reports.

Ricky will perform solo during the awards show, while Stevie Nicks and Sheryl Crow plan to duet.

Many famous faces plan to be in the audience during the show, including Christina Aguilera, Macy Gray, Kate Hudson, Drew Barrymore, and Cameron Diaz.

The Blockbuster Awards give out prizes in film, music, and video-game categories. The winners are decided by a public vote.
