Reese's "Blonde" a TV show?

Reese Witherspoon's hit summer flick might find a new home on television.

MGM, the company behind the hit comedy "Legally Blonde", is in talks with the UPN network about developing a sitcom based on the movie, zap2it.com reports.

The movie starred Reese as an intelligent but ditzy girl who gets accepted into Harvard Law School. The movie earned an impressive $90 million at the North American box office.

No one has been cast in Reese's role for the television version.

If UPN does win the rights to air the "Blonde" series, television experts expect the show will help the network draw a larger female audience. UPN currently has a stronger male audience due in part to "WWF Smackdown", but all that could change with the help of "Blonde" and UPN's hot new acquisition, "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".
