"Angel" star in thriller
"Angel's" David Boreanaz is trading in his good-guy TV image for a killer turn on the big screen.
David has signed on to star in "Valentine", a thriller from the director of "Urban Legend" (Jamie Blanks), according to the Hollywood Reporter.
In "Valentine", based on Tom Savage's 1996 book, "Valentine: A Novel", David plays a college outcast who finds himself the victim of a mean practical joke by four women.
Ten years later, his character is handsome and successful but is still haunted by the college gag.
To even the score, he decides to kill each of the four women on successive Valentine's Days.
The film is scheduled to begin shooting in Vancouver in July. It will be released on (what else) Valentine's Day in 2001.
David first entered the spotlight as the good-hearted vampire on the WB's "Buffy The Vampire Slayer".
