'Angel' star wins Saturn Award

"Angel's" David Boreanaz scooped a Saturn Award.

The Saturn Awards honour the best in science fiction, fantasy and horror in TV and movies and was hosted by Bruce Campbell ("Evil Dead", "Jack of All Trades") this year, zap2it.com reports.

David, who plays a brooding vampire with a kind heart on the WB's "Angel" won best Television Actor.

Other awards went to Tim Allen for his role in the "Star Trek" spoof "Galaxy Quest" and Christina Ricci for her role in "Sleepy Hollow".
