One "Angel" regular is leaving vampires behind in favour of some "Law & Order".

Elisabeth Rohm, who plays Detective Kate Lockley on the WB's "Angel", will join the cast of NBC's legal drama in the fall, zap2it.com reports.

Elisabeth will play the new Assistant District Attorney. She's replacing actress Angie Harmon, who plans to leave the show at the end of this season.

"I first worked with Liz four years ago, and I have watched her develop into one of the finest young actresses working in television," "Law & Order's" creator and executive producer, Dick Wolf, told zap2it.com. "Both [executive producer/head writer] Barry Schindel and I look forward to introducing another new and unique member of the 'Law & Order' family."
