The Buffy Scoop

Things are heating up between Buffy and her new nemesis Glory and defeating her latest evil foe won't be easy for the slayer.

According to a webchat with E! Online's Wanda, Glory's good-hearted brother Ben may be destroyed if Buffy manages to conquer his evil sister.

In more, sad Buffy news, the rumour is that Buffy's mom is not going to be around for much longer. E! Online reports that although Buffy's mom's brain surgery was supposedly successful, she's still not 100% healthy. Another clue to the slayer's mom's fate is that Kristine Sutherland who plays the mom, wants to leave "Buffy". Also, in previous interviews, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) has said that Buffy will have to deal with a serious tragedy this year.

There's also some gossip about the slayer's "sister". It looks as though Dawn will be sticking with the Scooby Gang for a while. Michelle Trachtenberg, who plays the mysterious "key" that's in the shape of Buffy's younger sister, has made a very good impression on "Buffy" creator Joss Whedon and important executives at the WB. According to Wanda, Dawn's "not going anywhere".

Finally, there will be some blood-sucking romance in the air during tonight's episode of "Buffy".

The dreaded vampire (and Spike's ex-girlfriend) Drusilla returns for a little romance with her peroxide-headed vampire beau, TV Guide reports.

According to Juliet Landau, who plays Drusilla on both "Buffy" and its spin-off "Angel", tonight's episode will see a love triangle forming between Drusilla, Spike and Buffy herself.
