A former "Felicity" star plans to return.

Amy Jo Johnson, who played Julie on the WB college drama, was written off the series last fall when her character of Julie quit university after her father died.

Amy was supposed to return to the show this season, but since "Felicity" had fewer episodes this season than normal (in an effort to boost ratings with all-new episodes), the show's executive producer wants to wait until Amy can enjoy a juicy story-line, TV Guide reports.

"It's at least for one episode, but it's a good episode,"said Abrams. "I love the story, so I'm hoping if we get picked up [for a fourth year], we'll be able to do it."

Amy's representative said the actress would be willing to return if "the story was right".
