The WB's latest teen show might not make it to next season.

"Grosse Pointe", the series that spoof's teen soaps such as "90210", and has enjoyed critical success but has faltered in the ratings race, TV Guide Online reports.

So far, the powers at The WB haven't made an announcement about the show's future.

"We all love the show," said Jordan Levin, The WB entertainment co-president. "We're thrilled with the critical support it has received, and it is a show that will be considered in our scheduling session. It has so much to do beyond the quality of the show... There are a lot of variables that we don't know enough about yet. What are our needs going to be? What does our development [slate] look like?"

Fans of the program have been mailing bars of soap in honour of the show's soap-y premise, to the network to show their support.
