More trouble comes to Sunnydale
*Warning, spoilers* -- When Riley returns to Sunnydale in an upcoming episode of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer," Buffy is going to be disappointed.
According to E! Online, Buffy is excited about Riley's return but her romantic feelings are quickly dashed when she finds out Riley is now married.
In more "Buffy" news, rumours about another death continue to fly. E! Online says the victim won't be Buffy again (she died last season, remember?) and would only provide this clue: "Fourth one's a charm" and "it's someone who has/will have a broken heart".
Fans wishing to discuss the rumoured "Buffy" death can do so on the AllPop message board, but please label your topic "warning spoilers" so fans who like surprises won't come across your musings by accident.
In even more "Buffy" news, the show's producer, Marti Noxon, continues to send out warnings about the Spike/Buffy romance. Last week we saw Buffy pummel her current flame, who refused to fight back. This event disturbed some fans, who are used to seeing Buffy as the good-hearted super hero who doesn't punch people out of spite.
Marti told zap2it.com that feedback from fans states that loyal viewers now think of Spike as a hero, but she says to beware.
"Part of what needs to happen at this point is to show that redemption is possible for Spike, but he's not redeemed now, and their relationship is really based on things that are not healthy," she said.
When zap2it.com asked about Buffy's recent, violent outburst -- which left Spike with a swollen face -- Marti said the relationship is "bringing out a desperation in her ... Long-term, there are definitely repercussions to what's happened."
"This is bringing out a desperation in her, and she's going to have to deal with that.
