'Buffy' preps 2 films

Before Sarah Michelle Gellar (a.k.a. Buffy), will begin fighting fictitious ghouls onscreen with her real-life boyfriend Freddie Prinze Jr. in "Scooby Doo", she'll grace the theatre in a racier flick.

Sarah stars in "Harvard Man" which opens in March 2002, imdb.com reports.

The movie also stars Rebecca Gayheart ("Urban Legend"), Eric Stoltz ("Jerry Maguire"), Adrian Grenier ("Drive Me Crazy") and Joey Lauren Adams ("Big Daddy").

Directed by James Toback who also helmed the artsy/semi-controversial films "Black And White" and "Two Guys And A Girl", "Harvard Man" won't be the typical teen flick Sarah's fans have grown used to seeing her in.

In the movie, Sarah plays Cindy, a cheerleader for Boston College who is dating a Harvard basketball player. Cindy's father is a mob boss and her boyfriend Alan (Adrian Grenier), eventually gets into sports betting. Meanwhile, Alan is having an affair with his philosophy professor (Joey Lauren Adams) while Eric Stoltz plays an FBI agent who is trying to arrest Cindy's father. Rebecca Gayheart plays Eric's girlfriend.

If you would rather see Sarah in a wholesome pic, you can see her as Daphne in "Scooby Doo" in June 2002.
